As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.


But Yeshua answered them, *You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.


He said, *I tell you, Kefa, the rooster will by no means crow today until you deny that you know me three times.*


Pilate called together the chief Kohanim and the rulers and the people,


and how the chief Kohanim and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him.


But all these things will they do to you for my name's sake, because they don't know him who sent me.


They will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.


*You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.


Yeshua therefore said to them, *When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM he, and I do nothing of myself, but as my Father taught me, I say these things.


For Moshe from generations of old has in every city those who preach him, being read in the synagogues every Shabbat.*


When they had appointed him a day, many people came to him at his lodging. He explained to them, testifying about the Kingdom of God, and persuading them concerning Yeshua, both from the Torah of Moshe and from the prophets, from morning until evening.


*Now, brothers, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn't have crucified the Lord of glory.


But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Messiah it passes away.


in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.


although I was before a blasphemer, a persecutor, and insolent. However, I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
