David spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Sha'ul:


For the eyes of the LORD run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein you have done foolishly; for from henceforth you shall have wars.


if the men of my tent have not said, 'Who can find one who has not been filled with his meat?'


He will deliver you in six troubles; yes, in seven there shall no evil touch you.

the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment;
