When the woman of Tekoa spoke to the king, she fell on her face to the ground, and did obeisance, and said, Help, O king.


He said to him, Say now to her, Behold, you have been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for you? would you be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the army? She answered, I dwell among my own people.


As the king of Yisra'el was passing by on the wall, there cried a woman to him, saying, Help, my lord, O king.


The woman arose, and did according to the word of the man of God; and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Pelishtim seven years.


Now the king was talking with Gechazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Please tell me all the great things that Elisha has done.


When the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed to her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.


He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Wasn't this to know me? says the LORD.


She went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters-in-law with her; and they went on the way to return to the land of Yehudah.
