He said to them, *Is it well with him?* They said, *It is well. See, Rachel, his daughter, is coming with the sheep.*


He said to him, *Go now, see whether it is well with your brothers, and well with the flock; and bring me word again.* So he sent him out of the valley of Chevron, and he came to Shekhem.


He asked them of their welfare, and said, *Is your father well, the old man of whom you spoke? Is he yet alive?*


The king said, Is it well with the young man Avshalom? Achima`atz answered, When Yo'av sent the king's servant, even me your servant, I saw a great tumult, but I don't know what it was.


He said, Why will you go to him today? it is neither new moon nor Shabbat. She said, It shall be well.


So she went, and came to the man of God to Mount Karmel. It happened, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gechazi his servant, Behold, yonder is the Shunammite:


When she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught hold of his feet. Gechazi came near to thrust her away; but the man of God said, Let her alone: for her soul is vexed within her; and the LORD has hid it from me, and has not told me.


He said, All is well. My master has sent me, saying, Behold, even now there are come to me from the hill country of Efrayim two young men of the sons of the prophets; please give them a talent of silver, and two changes of clothing.
