The king of Yisra'el said, Alas! for the LORD has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Mo'av.


He went and sent to Yehoshafat the king of Yehudah, saying, The king of Mo'av has rebelled against me: will you go with me against Mo'av to battle? He said, I will go up: I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.


He said, Which way shall we go up? He answered, The way of the wilderness of Edom.


In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Yehudah, and made a king over themselves.


All these your servants shall come down to me, and bow down themselves to me, saying, *Get out, with all the people who follow you;* and after that I will go out.'* He went out from Par`oh in hot anger.


Moshe led Yisra'el onward from the Sea of Suf, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.


All the congregation of the children of Yisra'el traveled from the wilderness of Sin, by their journeys, according to the LORD's mitzvah, and encamped in Refidim; but there was no water for the people to drink.


There was no water for the congregation: and they assembled themselves together against Moshe and against Aharon.


Why have you brought the assembly of the LORD into this wilderness, that we should die there, we and our animals?


The people spoke against God, and against Moshe, Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, and there is no water; and our soul loathes this light bread.


They traveled from Alush, and encamped in Refidim, where was no water for the people to drink.


Barak called Zevulun and Naftali together to Kedesh; and there went up ten thousand men at his feet: and Devorah went up with him.
