The sons of Yehoiakim: Yekhonyah his son, Tzidkiyahu his son.


Yehoiakim was eight years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months and ten days in Yerushalayim: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.


As I live, says the LORD, though Konyahu the son of Yehoiakim king of Yehudah were the signet on my right hand, yet would I pluck you there;


I will cast you out, and your mother who bore you, into another country, where you were not born; and there shall you die.


Is this man Konyahu a despised broken vessel? is he a vessel in which none delights? why are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into the land which they don't know?


The LORD shown me, and behold, two baskets of figs set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nevukhadnetzar 1 king of Bavel had carried away captive Yekhonyah the son of Yehoiakim, king of Yehudah, and the princes of Yehudah, with the craftsmen and smiths, from Yerushalayim, and had brought them to Bavel.


Tzidkiyahu the son of Yoshiyahu reigned as king, instead of Konyahu the son of Yehoiakim, whom Nevukhadnetzar 1 king of Bavel made king in the land of Yehudah.
