Chizkiyahu listened to them, and shown them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Chizkiyahu didn't show them.


Then came Yeshaiyahu the prophet to king Chizkiyahu, and said to him, What said these men? and from whence came they to you? Chizkiyahu said, They are come from a far country, even from Bavel.


Yeshaiyahu said to Chizkiyahu, Hear the word of the LORD.


if like Adam I have covered my transgressions, by hiding my iniquity in my heart,


God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.


He who conceals his sins doesn't prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.


Speak, Thus says the LORD, The dead bodies of men shall fall as dung on the open field, and as the handful after the harvester; and none shall gather [them].


Yehoshua said to `Akhan, My son, please give glory to the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, and make confession to him; and tell me now what you have done; don't hide it from me.
