But the LORD was gracious to them, and had compassion on them, and had respect to them, because of his covenant with Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya`akov, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet.


(the LORD gave Yisra'el a savior, so that they went out from under the hand of the Syrians; and the children of Yisra'el lived in their tents as before.


Now Na`aman, captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the LORD had given victory to Syria: he was also a mighty man of valor, [but he was] a leper.


Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written with the righteous.


Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from all your enemies round about, in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it, that you shall blot out the memory of `Amalek from under the sky; you shall not forget.


The LORD will not pardon him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and all the curse that is written in this book shall lie on him, and the LORD will blot out his name from under the sky.


let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under the sky; and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they.


He who overcomes will be arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.


For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake, because it has pleased the LORD to make you a people to himself.
