If you love me, keep my mitzvot.


One who has my mitzvot, and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.*


Yeshua answered him, *If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him.


If you keep my mitzvot, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's mitzvot, and remain in his love.


You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.


You shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his mitzvot, and obey his voice, and you shall serve him, and cleave to him.


Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.


But whoever keeps his word, God's love has most certainly been perfected in him. This is how we know that we are in him:


Brothers, I write no new mitzvah to you, but an old mitzvah which you had from the beginning. The old mitzvah is the word which you heard from the beginning.


And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.


For this is the love of God, that we keep his mitzvot. His mitzvot are not grievous.


Now I beg you, dear lady, not as though I wrote to you a new mitzvah, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
