Some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers also were conversing with him. Some said, *What does this babbler want to say?* Others said, *He seems to be advocating foreign deities,* because he preached Yeshua and the resurrection.


You see and hear, that not at Ephesus alone, but almost throughout all Asia, this Sha'ul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are no gods, that are made with hands.


but had certain questions against him about their own religion, and about one Yeshua, who was dead, whom Sha'ul affirmed to be alive.


Of whom I have no certain thing to write to my lord. Therefore I have brought him forth before you, and especially before you, King Agrippa, that, after examination, I may have something to write.


in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God's Spirit; so that from Yerushalayim, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the Good News of Messiah;


Even as it is written, *For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.*


But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.


I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Messiah Yeshua our Lord, I die daily.


For, I think that God has displayed us, the emissaries, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.


But though I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not unskilled in knowledge. No, in every way we have been revealed to you in all things.


But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.


Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are revealed to God; and I hope that we are revealed also in your consciences.
