For the king had at sea a navy of Tarshish with the navy of Chiram: once every three years came the navy of Tarshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.


The servants also of Churam, and the servants of Shlomo, who brought gold from Ofir 1, brought algum trees and precious stones.


Now the weight of gold that came to Shlomo in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,


For the king had ships that went to Tarshish with the servants of Churam; once every three years came the ships of Tarshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.


I also gathered silver and gold for myself, and the treasure of kings and of the provinces. I got myself male and female singers, and the delights of the sons of men--musical instruments, and that of all sorts.
