When Yehudah came to the place overlooking the wilderness, they looked at the multitude; and behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and there were none who escaped.


On the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berakha; for there they blessed the LORD: therefore the name of that place was called The valley of Berakha to this day.


*Kings of armies flee! They flee!* She who waits at home divides the spoil,


But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, and of her who visits her house, jewels of silver, jewels of gold, and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons, and on your daughters. You shall despoil the Egyptians.


She is more precious than rubies. None of the things you can desire are to be compared to her.


Yehudah also will fight at Yerushalayim; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered together: gold, and silver, and clothing, in great abundance.


Moshe said to them, Have you saved all the women alive?


([For] the men of war had taken booty, every man for himself.)


No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.


All the spoil of these cities, and the livestock, the children of Yisra'el took for a prey to themselves; but every man they struck with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any who breathed.
