Be it far from you to do things like that, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be like the wicked. May that be far from you. Shouldn't the Judge of all the earth do right?*


Yosef said to them the third day, *Do this, and live, for I fear God.


The God of Yisra'el said, the Rock of Yisra'el spoke to me, one who rules over men righteously, who rules in the fear of God,


But the former governors who were before me were chargeable to the people, and took of them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver; yes, even their servants bore rule over the people: but I didn't do so, because of the fear of God.


He will surely reprove you if you secretly show partiality.


Who doesn't respect the persons of princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor; for they all are the work of his hands.


Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert righteousness?


*How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?* Selah.


*You shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds those who have sight and perverts the words of the righteous.


He who walks righteously, and speaks blamelessly; He who despises the gain of oppressions, who gestures with his hands, refusing to take a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil--


Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently. The ruler and judge ask for a bribe; and the powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul. Thus they conspire together.


They sent their talmidim to him, along with the Herodians, saying, *Rabbi, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter who you teach, for you aren't partial to anyone.


Kefa opened his mouth and said, *Truly I perceive that God doesn't show favoritism;


For there is no partiality with God.


What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? May it never be!


But from those who were reputed to be important (whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God doesn't show partiality to man)--they, I say, who were respected imparted nothing to me,


You masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him.


The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice: a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he.


But he who does wrong will receive again for the wrong that he has done, and there is no partiality.


If you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, pass the time of your living as foriegners here in reverent fear:


He took a yoke of oxen, and cut them in pieces, and sent them throughout all the borders of Yisra'el by the hand of messengers, saying, Whoever doesn't come forth after Sha'ul and after Shemu'el, so shall it be done to his oxen. The dread of the LORD fell on the people, and they came out as one man.
