Now for a long season Yisra'el was without the true God, and without a teaching Kohen, and without law:


Moreover in Yerushalayim did Yehoshafat set of the Levites and the Kohanim, and of the heads of the fathers' [houses] of Yisra'el, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies. They returned to Yerushalayim.


He said to the Levites who taught all Yisra'el, who were holy to the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Shlomo the son of David king of Yisra'el did build; there shall no more be a burden on your shoulders: now serve the LORD your God, and his people Yisra'el.


Also Yeshua, and Bani, and Sherevyah, Yamin, `Akkuv, Shabbetai, Hodiyah, Ma`aseyah, Kelita, `Azaryah, Yozavad, Chanan, Pelayah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people [stood] in their place.


Turn to the law and to the testimony! If they don't speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.


For the Kohen's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth; for he is the messenger of the LORD of Armies.


But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next, for most certainly I tell you, you will not have gone through the cities of Yisra'el, until the Son of Man has come.


It happened that when Yeshua had finished directing his twelve talmidim, he departed from there to teach and preach in their cities.


*You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.


For if you believed Moshe, you would believe me; for he wrote about me.


After the reading of the Torah and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, *Brothers, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, speak.*


For Moshe from generations of old has in every city those who preach him, being read in the synagogues every Shabbat.*


When they had appointed him a day, many people came to him at his lodging. He explained to them, testifying about the Kingdom of God, and persuading them concerning Yeshua, both from the Torah of Moshe and from the prophets, from morning until evening.


But Philip was found at Ashdod. Passing through, he preached the Good News to all the cities, until he came to Caesarea.


Much in every way! Because first of all, they were entrusted with the oracles of God.


If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Yeshua the Messiah, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amein.
