There is little Binyamin, their ruler, the princes of Yehudah, their council, the princes of Zevulun, and the princes of Naftali.


Your God has commanded your strength. Strengthen, God, that which you have done for us.


When Efrayim spoke, there was trembling. He exalted himself in Yisra'el, but when he became guilty in Ba`al, he died.


For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.*


To me, the very least of all holy ones, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Messiah,


But certain worthless fellows said, How shall this man save us? They despised him, and brought him no present. But he held his shalom.


Kish was the father of Sha'ul; and Ner the father of Aviner was the son of Aviel.


Shemu'el said, *Though you were little in your own sight, weren't you made the head of the tribes of Yisra'el? the LORD anointed you king over Yisra'el;


David said to Sha'ul, Who am I, and what is my life, [or] my father's family in Yisra'el, that I should be son-in-law to the king?


Sha'ul's servants spoke those words in the ears of David. David said, Seems it to you a light thing to be the king's son-in-law, seeing that I am a poor man, and lightly esteemed?


Shemu'el took Sha'ul and his servant, and brought them into the guest room, and made them sit in the best place among those who were invited, who were about thirty persons.
