David was afraid of the LORD that day; and he said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?


For because you didn't carry it at the first, the LORD our God made a breach on us, because we didn't seek him according to the ordinance.


Par`oh's servants said to him, *How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve the LORD, their God. Don't you yet know that Egypt is destroyed?*


The Egyptians were urgent with the people, to send them out of the land in haste, for they said, *We are all dead men.*


Par`oh said, *I will let you go, that you may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness, only you shall not go very far away. Pray for me.*


Then Par`oh called for Moshe and Aharon, and said, *Entreat the LORD, that he take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to the LORD.*


Pray to the LORD; for there has been enough of mighty thunderings and hail. I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.*


The LORD of Armies, the God of Yisra'el, says: Behold, I will punish Amon of No, and Par`oh, and Egypt, with her gods, and her kings; even Par`oh, and those who trust in him:


For, because you have trusted in your works and in your treasures, you also shall be taken: and Kemosh shall go forth into captivity, his Kohanim and his princes together.


Woe to us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty gods? these are the gods that struck the Egyptians with all manner of plagues in the wilderness.


But the hand of the LORD was heavy on them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and struck them with tumors, even Ashdod and the borders of it.


They sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the Pelishtim to them, and said, What shall we do with the ark of the God of Yisra'el? They answered, Let the ark of the God of Yisra'el be carried about to Gat. They carried the ark of the God of Yisra'el [there].


The men of Beit-Shemesh said, Who is able to stand before the LORD, this holy God? and to whom shall he go up from us?
