So Shlomo built the house, and finished it.


In the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts of it, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.


So he built the house, and finished it; and he covered the house with beams and planks of cedar.


The sons of `Amram: Aharon and Moshe; and Aharon was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons, forever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister to him, and to bless in his name, forever.


My sons, don't be negligent now; for the LORD has chosen you to stand before him, to minister to him, and that you should be his ministers, and burn incense.


Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore is my wrath poured out on this place, and it shall not be quenched.


Now all the work of Shlomo was prepared to the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. [So] the house of the LORD was completed.


Aharon shall burn incense of sweet spices on it every morning. When he tends the lamps, he shall burn it.


Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Yisra'el.


Three times in a year shall all your males appear before the LORD your God in the place which he shall choose: in the feast of matzah, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of booths; and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:


that the daughters of Yisra'el went yearly to celebrate the daughter of Yiftach the Gil`adite four days in a year.
