When your people Yisra'el are struck down before the enemy, because they have sinned against you; if they turn again to you, and confess your name, and pray and make supplication to you in this house:


yet if they shall repent themselves in the land where they are carried captive, and turn again, and make supplication to you in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done perversely, and have dealt wickedly;


The seed of Yisra'el separated themselves from all foreigners, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.


We have sinned with our fathers. We have committed iniquity. We have done wickedly.


Then shall you remember your ways, and be ashamed, when you shall receive your sisters, your elder [sisters] and your younger; and I will give them to you for daughters, but not by your covenant.


that you may remember, and be confounded, and never open your mouth any more, because of your shame, when I have forgiven you all that you have done, says the Lord GOD.


Because he considers, and turns away from all his transgressions that he has committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.


This is what the LORD of Armies says: *Consider your ways.


I will sow them among the peoples; and they will remember me in far countries; and they will live with their children, and will return.
