It was a handbreadth thick: and the brim of it was worked like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it held two thousand baths.


The work of the bases was on this manner: they had panels; and there were panels between the ledges;


He made ten basins of brass: one basin contained forty baths; and every basin was four cubits; and on very one of the ten bases one basin.


King Achaz cut off the panels of the bases, and removed the basin from off them, and took down the sea from off the bronze oxen that were under it, and put it on a pavement of stone.


The pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases and the bronze sea that were in the house of the LORD, did the Kasdim break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Bavel.


The two pillars, the one sea, and the bases, which Shlomo had made for the house of the LORD, the brass of all these vessels was without weight.


He made also the bases, and the basins made he on the bases;
