They brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tent of meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tent; even these did the Kohanim and the Levites bring up.


Shlomo offered for the sacrifice of shalom offerings, which he offered to the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and one hundred twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Yisra'el dedicated the house of the LORD.


that the LORD appeared to Shlomo the second time, as he had appeared to him at Giv`on.


and Tzadok the Kohen, and his brothers the Kohanim, before the tent of the LORD in the high place that was at Giv`on,


For the tent of the LORD, which Moshe made in the wilderness, and the altar of burnt offering, were at that time in the high place at Giv`on.


Shlomo spoke to all Yisra'el, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every prince in all Yisra'el, the heads of the fathers' [houses].


So Shlomo, and all the assembly with him, went to the high place that was at Giv`on; for there was the tent of meeting of God, which Moshe the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.


For Chizkiyahu king of Yehudah did give to the assembly for offerings one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of Kohanim sanctified themselves.


King Shlomo offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.


Levanon is not sufficient to burn, nor its animals sufficient for a burnt offering.


It happened the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Tzidkiyahu king of Yehudah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Chananyah the son of Azur, the prophet, who was of Giv`on, spoke to me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the Kohanim and of all the people, saying,


that they feared greatly, because Giv`on was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than `Ai, and all the men of it were mighty.


Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Binyamin according to their families were Yericho, and Beit-Choglah, and Emek-Ketzitz,


But when the inhabitants of Giv`on heard what Yehoshua had done to Yericho and to `Ai,


Sha'ul said, Bring here the burnt offering to me, and the shalom offerings. He offered the burnt offering.
