Yosef hurried, for his heart yearned over his brother; and he sought a place to weep. He entered into his room, and wept there.


The king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.


Then the king answered, Give her the living child, and in no way kill it: she is the mother of it.


My heart was hot within me. While I meditated, the fire burned: I spoke with my tongue:


Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you.


Is Efrayim my dear son? is he a darling child? for as often as I speak against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the LORD.


*How can I give you up, Efrayim? How can I hand you over, Yisra'el? How can I make you like Admah? How can I make you like Tzevoyim? My heart is turned within me, my compassion is aroused.


without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful;


For God is my witness, how I long after all of you in the tender mercies of Messiah Yeshua.


If there is therefore any exhortation in Messiah, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion,


without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,


But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and closes his heart of compassion against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
