and there were also sodomites in the land: they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD drove out before the children of Yisra'el.


Now the rest of the acts of Rechav`am, and all that he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Yehudah?


He put away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.


Or don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,


There shall be no prostitute of the daughters of Yisra'el, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Yisra'el.


for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;


Even as Sedom and `Amorah, and the cities around them, having, in the same way as these, given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.
