They struck the men who were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they wearied themselves to find the door.


and I will come on him while he is weary and exhausted, and will make him afraid; and all the people who are with him shall flee; and I will strike the king only;


Ben-Hadad the king of Syria gathered all his army together; and there were thirty-two kings with him, and horses and chariots: and he went up and besieged Shomron, and fought against it.


They went out at noon. But Ben-Hadad was drinking himself drunk in the pavilions, he and the kings, the thirty-two kings who helped him.


Do this thing: take the kings away, every man out of his place, and put captains in their room;


It happened, when the captains of the chariots saw Yehoshafat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Yisra'el; and they turned aside to fight against him: and Yehoshafat cried out.


Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Yisra'el.


Both great and small shall die in this land; they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them;


and had taken captive the women [and all] who were therein, both small and great: they didn't kill any, but carried them off, and went their way.
