So he went another way, and didn't return by the way that he came to Beit-El.


Their father said to them, Which way did he go? Now his sons had seen which way the man of God went, who came from Yehudah.


Behold, men passed by, and saw the body cast in the way, and the lion standing by the body; and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet lived.


He said, Let him be; let no man move his bones. So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet who came out of Shomron.


[to wit], the prophets of Yisra'el who prophesy concerning Yerushalayim, and who see visions of shalom for her, and there is no shalom, says the Lord GOD.


Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Yisra'el who prophesy, and say you to those who prophesy out of their own heart, Hear you the word of the LORD:


Bil`am lifted up his eyes, and he saw Yisra'el dwelling according to their tribes; and the Spirit of God came on him.


Many will tell me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?'


(but if a man doesn't know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the assembly of God?)


but he was rebuked for his own disobedience. A mute donkey spoke with a man's voice and stopped the madness of the prophet.


It happened, when all who knew him before saw that, behold, he prophesied with the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come to the son of Kish? Is Sha'ul also among the prophets?
