The sons of Kush: Seva, Chavilah, Savtah, Ra`mah, and Savtekha. The sons of Ra`mah: Sheva and Dedan.


Yokshan became the father of Sheva, and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Ashurim, Letushim, and Le'ummim.


All the earth sought the presence of Shlomo, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.


For he was wiser than all men; than Etan the Ezrachite, and Heman, and Kalkol, and Darda, the sons of Machol: and his fame was in all the nations round about.


There came of all peoples to hear the wisdom of Shlomo, from all kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.


He sent them to Levanon, ten thousand a month by courses; a month they were in Levanon, and two months at home; and Adoniram was over the men subject to forced labor.


To man he said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom. To depart from evil is understanding.'*


The caravans of Tema looked. The companies of Sheva waited for them.


I will incline my ear to a proverb. I will open my riddle on the harp.


The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. The kings of Sheva and Seva shall offer gifts.


They shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheva. Men shall pray for him continually. They shall bless him all day long.


The multitude of camels shall cover you, the dromedaries of Midyan and `Efah; all they from Sheva shall come; they shall bring gold and frankincense, and shall proclaim the praises of the LORD.


To what purpose comes there to me frankincense from Sheva, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices pleasing to me.


Your renown went forth among the nations for your beauty; for it was perfect, through my majesty which I had put on you, says the Lord GOD.


Sheva, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions of it, shall tell you, Are you come to take the spoil? have you assembled your company to take the prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great spoil?


The queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Shlomo; and behold, someone greater than Shlomo is here.


He answered them, *To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.


that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, *I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.*


Without a parable he didn't speak to them; but privately to his own talmidim he explained all things.


The Queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and will condemn them: for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Shlomo; and behold, one greater than Shlomo is here.


This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Yeshua the Messiah.
