Now Avraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age. It had ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.


Avraham was old, and well stricken in age. The LORD had blessed Avraham in all things.


David built there an altar to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and shalom offerings. So the LORD was entreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Yisra'el.


David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.


Bat-Sheva went in to the king into the chamber: and the king was very old; and Avishag the Shunammite was ministering to the king.
