yet if they shall repent themselves in the land where they are carried captive, and turn again, and make supplication to you in the land of those who carried them captive, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have dealt wickedly;


So Sha'ul died for his trespass which he committed against the LORD, because of the word of the LORD, which he didn't keep; and also because he asked counsel of one who had a familiar spirit, to inquire [thereby],


The Spirit of God came on Zekharyah the son of Yehoiada the Kohen; and he stood above the people, and said to them, Thus says God, Why disobey you the mitzvot of the LORD, so that you can't prosper? because you have forsaken the LORD, he has also forsaken you.


By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who [among them] considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living for the disobedience of my people to whom the stroke [was due]?


Yes, all Yisra'el have transgressed your law, even turning aside, that they should not obey your voice: therefore has the curse been poured out on us, and the oath that is written in the Torah of Moshe the servant of God; for we have sinned against him.


Because he has despised the word of the LORD, and has broken his mitzvah, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.


Whoever, therefore, shall break one of these least mitzvot, and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.


Then Sha'ul said to him, *God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! Do you sit to judge me according to the Torah, and command me to be struck contrary to the Torah?*


Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.


For the law works wrath, for where there is no law, neither is there disobedience.


that again when I come my God would humble me before you, and I would mourn for many of those who have sinned before now, and not repented of the uncleanness and sexual immorality and lustfulness which they committed.


and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.


All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.


Sha'ul said to Shemu'el, I have sinned; for I have transgressed the mitzvah of the LORD, and your words, because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
