In that day the Egyptians will be like women. They will tremble and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of Armies, which he shakes over them.


Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue.


After these things Sha'ul departed from Athens, and came to Korint.


But when Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews with one accord rose up against Sha'ul and brought him before the judgment seat,


When they opposed him and blasphemed, he shook out his clothing and said to them, *Your blood be on your own heads! I am clean. From now on, I will go to the Gentiles!*


Now I Sha'ul, myself, entreat you by the humility and gentleness of Messiah; I who in your presence am lowly among you, but being absent am of good courage toward you.


For, *His letters,* they say, *are weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech is despised.*


For he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.


For we rejoice when we are weak and you are strong. And this we also pray for, even your perfecting.


Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don't faint.


Therefore we don't faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.


but in everything commending ourselves, as servants of God, in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,


His affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembers all of your obedience, how with fear and trembling you received him.


For even when we had come into Macedonia, our flesh had no relief, but we were afflicted on every side. Fightings were outside. Fear was inside.


Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Messiah;
