Moshe took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.


Moshe took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, *Look, this is the blood of the covenant, which the LORD has made with you concerning all these words.*


Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Yisra'el, and with the house of Yehudah:


Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, *This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.


The cup of blessing which we bless, isn't it a communion of the blood of Messiah? The bread which we break, isn't it a communion of the body of Messiah?


When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, *Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me.*


But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Messiah it passes away.


who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.


Now may the God of shalom, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Yeshua,
