'Behold, you scoffers, and wonder, and perish; for I work a work in your days, a work which you will in no way believe, if one declares it to you.'*


Some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers also were conversing with him. Some said, *What does this babbler want to say?* Others said, *He seems to be advocating foreign deities,* because he preached Yeshua and the resurrection.


Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked; but others said, *We want to hear you again concerning this.*

For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Messiah, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

Now the natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn't receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.


looking to Yeshua, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.


For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
