Behold, I purpose to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to David my father, saying, Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your room, he shall build the house for my name.


The LORD has established his word that he spoke; for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Yisra'el, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Yisra'el.


Now, LORD God, let your promise to David my father be established; for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.


He made also posts, sixty cubits; and the court [reached] to the posts, round about the gate.


For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moshe, inasmuch as he who built the house has more honor than the house.


but Messiah is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.


and in this place again, *They will not enter into my rest.*
