7 Now therefore thus shall you tell my servant David, Thus says the LORD of Armies, I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people Yisra'el:

David said to Mikhal, [It was] before the LORD, who chose me above your father, and above all his house, to appoint me prince over the people of the LORD, over Yisra'el: therefore will I play before the LORD.


Now therefore thus shall you tell my servant David, Thus says the LORD of Armies, I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people, over Yisra'el;


In all places in which I have walked with all Yisra'el, spoke I a word with any of the judges of Yisra'el, whom I commanded to be shepherd of my people, saying, Why have you not built me a house of cedar?


and I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you; and I will make you a name, like the name of the great ones who are in the earth.


but I have chosen Yerushalayim, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Yisra'el.


'You Beit-Lechem, land of Yehudah, are in no way least among the princes of Yehudah: for out of you shall come forth a governor, who shall shepherd my people, Yisra'el.'*


and so also were Ya`akov and Yochanan, sons of Zavdai, who were partners with Shim`on. Yeshua said to Shim`on, *Don't be afraid. From now on you will be catching people alive.*


Now David went back and forth from Sha'ul to feed his father's sheep at Beit-Lechem.
