He opened a rock, and water gushed out, flowing through the desert like a river.

You made springs and fountains flow; you dried up large rivers.


He split rocks open in the desert and gave them water from the depths.


He caused a stream to come out of the rock and made water flow like a river.


It is true that he struck the rock, and water flowed out in a torrent; but can he also provide us with bread and give his people meat?”


I will stand before you on a rock at Mount Sinai. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink.” Moses did so in the presence of the leaders of Israel.


Watch for the new thing I am going to do. It is happening already—you can see it now! I will make a road through the wilderness and give you streams of water there.


When the Lord led his people through a hot, dry desert, they did not suffer from thirst. He made water come from a rock for them; he split the rock open, and water flowed out.


I took care of you in a dry, desert land.


Aaron's sons, Nadab and Abihu, each took his fire pan, put live coals in it, added incense, and presented it to the Lord. But this fire was not holy, because the Lord had not commanded them to present it.
