“If my heart has been enticed toward a woman, and I have lain in wait at my neighbor’s door,


He says in his heart, “God has forgotten, he has hidden his face, he will never see it.”


If you see a thief, you are pleased with him, and you keep company with adulterers.


And they say, “How can God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”


and they say, “The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive.”


“You shall not commit adultery.


and I have seen among the simple, I have perceived among the youths, a young man lacking sense,


Then he said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each in his room of pictures? For they say, ‘The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’”


Then he said to me, “The guilt of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is full of blood, and the city full of injustice. For they say, ‘The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see.’
