The earth shook and trembled, the foundations of the mountains were moved, and shaken: because he was angry with them.


The pillars of heaven tremble and dread at his beck.


Who hath removed mountains, and they whom he overthrew in his wrath knew it not.


He gave them hail for rain, a burning fire in the land.


and I called upon the name of the Lord. O Lord, deliver my soul.


The Lord is the keeper of little ones: I was little and he delivered me.


His going out is from the end of heaven, And his circuit even to the end thereof: and there is no one that can hide himself from his heat.


The law of the Lord is unspotted, converting souls: the testimony of the Lord is faithful, giving wisdom to little ones.


God is ascended with jubilee, and the Lord with the sound of trumpet.


Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.


he spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the commandment which he gave them.


And all mount Sinai was on a smoke: because the Lord was come down upon it in fire, and the smoke arose from it as out of a furnace. And all the mount was terrible.


BEHOLD, the Lord shall lay waste the earth, and shall strip it, and shall afflict the face thereof and scatter abroad the inhabitants thereof.


With shaking shall the earth be shaken as a drunken man, and shall be removed as the tent of one night. And the iniquity thereof shall be heavy upon it: and it shall fall and not rise again.


Therefore is the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, and he hath stretched out his hand upon them, and struck them: and the mountains were troubled, and their carcasses became as dung in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.


But the Lord is the true God: he is the living God and the everlasting king. At his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his threatening.


I looked upon the mountains, and, behold, they trembled: and all the hills were troubled.


So that the fishes of the sea, and the birds of the air, and the beasts of the field, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the ground, and all men that are upon the face of the earth, shall be moved at my presence: and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the hedges shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.


At their presence the earth hath trembled, the heavens are moved: the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars have withdrawn their shining.


And the Lord the God of hosts is he who toucheth the earth, and it shall melt: and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up as a river, and shall run down as the river of Egypt.


And the mountains shall be melted under him: and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as waters that run down a steep place.


The mountains saw thee, and were grieved: the great body of waters passed away. The deep put forth its voice: the deep lifted up its hands.


Who art thou, O great mountain, before Zorobabel? thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring out the chief stone, and shall give equal grace to the grace thereof.


For behold the day shall come kindled as a furnace: and all the proud, and all that do wickedly shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall set them on fire, saith the Lord of hosts, it shall not leave them root, nor branch.


And behold the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top even to the bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks were rent.


And behold there was a great earthquake. For an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and coming, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it.


And I saw a great white throne, and one sitting upon it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away, and there was no place found for them.


And the heaven departed as a book folded up: and every mountain, and the islands were moved out of their places.


The mountains melted before the face of the Lord, and Sinai before the face of the Lord the God of Israel.
