And when he was gone forth into the way, a certain man running up and kneeling before him, asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may receive life everlasting?


And if any man shall say to you, What are you doing? say ye that the Lord hath need of him: and immediately he will let him come hither.


And he sendeth two of his disciples, and saith to them: Go ye into the city; and there shall meet you a man carrying a pitcher of water, follow him;


And he will shew you a large dining room furnished; and there prepare ye for us.


And you shall say to the goodman of the house: The master saith to thee, Where is the guest chamber, where I may eat the pasch with my disciples?


And when she had said these things, she went, and called her sister Mary secretly, saying: The master is come, and calleth for thee.


You call me Master, and Lord; and you say well, for so I am.


Behold, I stand at the gate, and knock. If any man shall hear my voice, and open to me the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
