The mountains melted like wax, at the presence of the Lord: at the presence of the Lord of all the earth.


And idols shall be utterly destroyed.


I will declare thy justice: and thy works shall not profit thee.


They are vain things and a ridiculous work: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.


And he shall kindle a fire in the temples of the gods of Egypt: and he shall burn them: and he shall carry them away captives. And he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment: and he shall go forth from thence in peace.


And he shall break the statues of the house of the sun that are in the land of Egypt; and the temples of the gods of Egypt he shall burn with fire.


Declare ye among the nations and publish it, lift up a standard: proclaim and conceal it not. Say: Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is overthrown, their graven things are confounded, their idols are overthrown.


They are vain works and worthy to be laughed at: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.


Thau. Thou shalt persecute them in anger, and shalt destroy them from under the heavens, O Lord.


Thus saith the Lord God: I will also destroy the idols, and I will make an end of the idols of Memphis: and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will cause a terror in the land of Egypt.


The Lord shall be terrible upon them, and shall consume all the gods of the earth: and they shall adore him every man from his own place, all the islands of the Gentiles.


And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will destroy the names of idols out of the earth, and they shall be remembered no more: and I will take away the false prophets, and the unclean spirit out of the earth.


And he laid hold on the dragon the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.


And the next day again, when they rose in the morning, they found Dagon lying upon his face on the earth before the ark of the Lord. And the head of Dagon, and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold:
