By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the power of them by the spirit of his mouth:


and in thy name they shall rejoice all the day, and in thy justice they shall be exalted.


The beginning of quarrels is as when one letteth out water: before he suffereth reproach he forsaketh judgment.


Pass not beyond the ancient bounds which thy fathers have set.


Thy princes are faithless, companions of thieves: they all love bribes, the run after rewards. They judge not for the fatherless: and the widow's cometh not in to them.


As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall you be in the midst thereof: and you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have poured out my indignation upon you.


Now very shortly I will pour out my wrath upon thee and I will accomplish my anger in thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways and I will lay upon thee all thy crimes.


And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof.


But he that heareth, and doth not, is like to a man building his house upon the earth without a foundation: against which the stream beat vehemently, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.


Thou shalt not take nor remove thy neighbour's landmark, which thy predecessors have set in thy possession, which the Lord thy God will give thee in the land that thou shalt receive to possess.


Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmarks. And all the people shall say: Amen.
