Over them the birds of the air shall dwell: from the midst of the rocks they shall give forth their voices.


Behold the man that made not God his helper: But trusted in the abundance of his riches: and prevailed in his vanity.


I am, I am he that blot out thy iniquities for my own sake: and I will not remember thy sins.


I have blotted out thy iniquities as a cloud and thy sins as a mist: return to me, for I have redeemed thee.


And now they that are redeemed by the Lord, shall return, and shall come into Sion singing praises: and joy everlasting shall be upon their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness: sorrow and mourning shall flee away.


Blind the heart of this people, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes: lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and be converted, and I heal them.


To appoint to the mourners of Sion: and to give them a crown for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, a garment of praise for the spirit of grief. And they shall be called in it the mighty ones of justice, the planting of the Lord to glorify him.


And they shall know their seed among the Gentiles and their offspring in the midst of peoples. All that shall see them shall know them, that these are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.


If so be, when the house of Juda shall hear all the evils that I purpose to do unto them, that they may return every man from his wicked way: and I will forgive their iniquity and their sin.


In those days and at that time, saith the Lord, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none: and the sin of Juda, and there shall none be found: for I will be merciful to them whom I shall leave.


Nun. Let us search our ways, and seek and return to the Lord.


Convert us, O Lord, to thee, and we shall be converted: renew our days, as from the beginning.


Say to them: As I live, saith the Lord God, I desire not the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way, and live. Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways: and why will you die, O house of Israel?


Return, O Israel, to the Lord thy God: for thou hast fallen down by thy iniquity.


And rend your hearts, and not your garments, and turn to the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, patient and rich in mercy, and ready to repent of the evil.


For the heart of this people is grown gross, and with their ears they have been dull of hearing, and their eyes they have shut: lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.


And said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.


And he shall convert many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.


But he denied him, saying: Woman, I know him not.


They therefore who were come together, asked him, saying: Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?


Having heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying: God then hath also to the Gentiles given repentance unto life.


And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believing, were converted to the Lord.


They therefore being brought on their way by the church, passed through Phenice, and Samaria, relating the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren.


And hath made of one, all mankind, to dwell upon the whole face of the earth, determining appointed times, and the limits of their habitation.


But Peter said to them: Do penance, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.


For the heart of this people is grown gross, and with their ears have they heard heavily, and their eyes they have shut; lest perhaps they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.


That when the times of refreshment shall come from the presence of the Lord, and he shall send him who hath been preached unto you, Jesus Christ,


Whom heaven indeed must receive, until the times of the restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets, from the beginning of the world.


For I would not have you ignorant, brethren, of this mystery, (lest you should be wise in your own conceits), that blindness in part has happened in Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles should come in.


When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be made wonderful in all them who have believed; because our testimony was believed upon you in that day.


And to you who are troubled, rest with us when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven, with the angels of his power:


With modesty admonishing them that resist the truth: if peradventure God may give them repentance to know the truth,


Let us fear therefore lest the promise being left of entering into his rest, any of you should be thought to be wanting.


For you were as sheep going astray; but you are now converted to the shepherd and bishop of your souls.


But of this one thing be not ignorant, my beloved, that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.


And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and death shall be no more, nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away.
