And considering, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, who was surnamed Mark, where many were gathered together and praying.


And after some days, Paul said to Barnabas: Let us return and visit our brethren in all the cities wherein we have preached the word of the Lord, to see how they do.


But Paul desired that he (as having departed from them out of Pamphylia, and not gone with them to the work) might not be received.


Phrygia, and Pamphylia, Egypt, and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome,


And the south wind gently blowing, thinking that they had obtained their purpose, when they had loosed from Asson, they sailed close by Crete.


And sailing over the sea of Cilicia, and Pamphylia, we came to Lystra, which is in Lycia:


Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, saluteth you, and Mark, the cousin german of Barnabas, touching whom you have received commandments; if he come unto you, receive him:


Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
