And the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying: In such and such a place let us lay ambushes.


And the Lord said: Put out thy hand and take it by the tail. He put forth his hand, and took hold of it; and it was turned into a rod.


And he that was dead, sat up, and began to speak. And he gave him to his mother.


And giving her his hand, he lifted her up. And when he had called the saints and the widows, he presented her alive.
