saying: Prophesy to us, O Anointed, who is he striking thee?


And spitting on him, they took the reed, and struck on the head of him.


I but say to you, not resist the evil; but whoever thee shall slap upon the right of thee cheek, turn to him also the other;


and they will mock him, and they will scourge him, and they will spit upon him, and they will kill him; and the third day he will stand up.


And began some to spit upon him, and to cover the face of him, and to beat with the fist him, and to say to him: Prophesy. And the attendants with open hands him beat.
