Say therefore to us, what to thee seems right? is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?


Show you to me the coin of the tribute. They and brought to him a denarius.


They say to him: Of Caesar. Then he says to them: Give you back then the (things) of Caesar to Caesar; and the (things) of the God to the God.


Answering and the Jesus said to him: Permit now; thus for coming it is to us, to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
