The wheels’ design was similar to that of chariot wheels: their axles, rims, spokes, and hubs were all of cast metal.


The eyes of the  Lord are everywhere, observing the wicked and the good.


‘For as heaven is higher than earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.


Their entire bodies,  including their backs, hands, wings, and the wheels that the four of them had, were full of eyes all round.


For who despises the day of small things?  These seven eyes of the Lord, which scan throughout the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the ceremonial stone  in Zerubbabel’s hand.’


Something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal, was also before the throne. Four living creatures covered with eyes in front and behind were round the throne on each side.


Each of the four living creatures had six wings;  they were covered with eyes around and inside. Day and night  they never stop,  saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, the Almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come.
