Then God let her see a well. So she went to the well and filled the skin with water, then gave some to her son.


When you get to the rock at Mount Sinai, I will be there with you. Strike the rock with the stick, and water will pour out for the people to drink.” Moses did this while the leaders watched.


With great joy, you people will get water from the well of victory.


In the towns of Eglaim and of Beerelim and everywhere else in Moab mournful cries are heard.


Every wild animal honors me, even jackals and owls. I provide water in deserts— streams in thirsty lands for my chosen people.


They won't go hungry or get thirsty; they won't be bothered by the scorching sun or hot desert winds. I will be merciful while leading them along to streams of water.

Everything is finished! I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give water from the life-giving fountain to everyone who is thirsty.


The angel showed me a river that was crystal clear, and its waters gave life. The river came from the throne where God and the Lamb were seated.


The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Everyone who hears this should say, “Come!” If you are thirsty, come! If you want life-giving water, come and take it. It's free!


Jotham ran off and went to live in the town of Beer, where he could be safe from his brother Abimelech.
