Early the next morning, as everyone got ready to leave for the desert near Tekoa, Jehoshaphat stood up and said, “Listen my friends, if we trust the Lord God and believe what these prophets have told us, the Lord will help us, and we will be successful.”


At Meribah Spring they turned against you and made you furious.


Our Lord and our God, you answered their prayers and forgave their sins, but when they did wrong, you punished them.


I am the one you should fear and respect. I am the holy God, the Lord All-Powerful!


When I bring you home from the places where you are now scattered, I will be pleased with you, just as I am pleased with the smell of the smoke from your sacrifices. Every nation on earth will see that I am holy,


and to show foreign nations that I am holy. Then they will know that I am the Lord God. I have spoken.


When that day comes, I know that you will have an evil plan


Then Moses told Aaron that this was exactly what the Lord had meant when he said: “I demand respect from my priests, and I will be praised by everyone!” Aaron was speechless.


If this is the way you're going to treat me, just kill me now and end my miserable life!


“Aaron, this is where you will die. You and Moses disobeyed me at Meribah, and so you will not enter the land I promised the Israelites.


because both of you disobeyed me at Meribah near the town of Kadesh in the Zin Desert. When the Israelites insulted me there, you didn't believe in my holy power.”


Jesus said, “You people are too stubborn to have any faith! How much longer must I be with you? Why do I have to put up with you? Bring the boy here.”


Jesus replied: It is because you don't have enough faith! But I can promise you this. If you had faith no larger than a mustard seed, you could tell this mountain to move from here to there. And it would. Everything would be possible for you.


You have not believed what I have said. So you will not be able to say a thing until all this happens. But everything will take place when it is supposed to.”


The Lord has blessed you because you believed that he will keep his promise.


The Law was given by Moses, but Jesus Christ brought us undeserved kindness and truth.


But Abraham never doubted or questioned God's promise. His faith made him strong, and he gave all the credit to God.


The Lord was even angry with me because of you people, and he said, “Moses, I won't let you go into the land either.


The Lord said, “Moses, this is the land I was talking about when I solemnly promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that I would give land to their descendants. I have let you see it, but you will not cross the Jordan and go in.”


The Lord was angry with me because of what you said, and he told me that he would not let me cross the Jordan River into the good land that he is giving you.


My servant Moses is dead. Now you must lead Israel across the Jordan River into the land I'm giving to all of you.


Honor Christ and let him be the Lord of your life. Always be ready to give an answer when someone asks you about your hope.
