Think about it, Lord! Have you ever been this cruel to anyone before? Is it right for mothers to eat their children, or for priests and prophets to be killed in your temple?


Early the next morning all the chief priests and the nation's leaders met and decided that Jesus should be put to death.


They tied him up and led him away to Pilate the governor.


They said, “Why are you men from Galilee standing here and looking up into the sky? Jesus has been taken to heaven. But he will come back in the same way you have seen him go.”


They were excited and amazed, and said: Don't all these who are speaking come from Galilee?


Later, when the people of our nation were being counted, Judas from Galilee showed up. A lot of people followed him, but he was killed, and all his followers were scattered.
