And she conceived, and bare a son: and said, God hath taken away my reproach:


Let Israel rejoice in him that made him:\par\tab Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.


The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever:\par\tab The ordinances of Jehovah are true, {\i and} righteous altogether.


Thou hast taken away all thy wrath;\par\tab Thou hast turned {\i thyself} from the fierceness of thine anger.


Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.\par


He hath swallowed up death for ever; and the Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of his people will he take away from off all the earth: for Jehovah hath spoken it.\par


For Jehovah is our judge, Jehovah is our lawgiver, Jehovah is our king; he will save us.


and the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.\par


Thus saith thy Lord Jehovah, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thy hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath; thou shalt no more drink it again:


Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.


In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near thee.


Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, desolation nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.


And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people; and there shall be heard in her no more the voice of weeping and the voice of crying.


Behold, the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people from a land that is very far off: is not Jehovah in Zion? is not her King in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with foreign vanities?


Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas Jehovah was there:


neither will I let thee hear any more the shame of the nations, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nation to stumble any more, saith the Lord Jehovah.\par


neither will I hide my face any more from them; for I have poured out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.\par


It shall be eighteen thousand {\i reeds} round about: and the name of the city from that day shall be, Jehovah is there.\par


So shall ye know that I am Jehovah your God, dwelling in Zion my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.\par


And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them, saith Jehovah thy God.\par


Then mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her who said unto me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall see {\i my desire} upon her; now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.


For the violence done to Lebanon shall cover thee, and the destruction of the beasts, which made them afraid; because of men's blood, and for the violence done to the land, to the city and to all that dwell therein.\par


Because thou hast plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples shall plunder thee, because of men's blood, and for the violence done to the land, to the city and to all that dwell therein.\par


Jehovah thy God is in the midst of thee, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.


Jehovah in the midst of her is righteous; he will not do iniquity; every morning doth he bring his justice to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.


And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.


And men shall dwell therein, and there shall be no more curse; but Jerusalem shall dwell safely.\par


Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy king cometh unto thee; he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.


Nathanael answered him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art King of Israel.


{\b Fear not, daughter of Zion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.}


And Pilate wrote a title also, and put it on the cross. And there was written, JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.


I can of myself do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is righteous; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.


And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying,\par\tab Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuseth them before our God day and night.


Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye saints, and ye apostles, and ye prophets; for God hath judged your judgment on her.\par


And he hath on his garment and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.\par


Therefore are they before the throne of God; and they serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them.
