Reuben, thou art my first-born, my might, and the beginning of my strength; The pre-eminence of dignity, and the pre-eminence of power.


A faithful witness will not lie;\par\tab But a false witness uttereth lies.


Jehovah possessed me in the beginning of his way,\par\tab Before his works of old.


Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples.


so that he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.\par


Then they said to Jeremiah, Jehovah be a true and faithful witness amongst us, if we do not according to all the word wherewith Jehovah thy God shall send thee to us.


All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.


Jesus answered and said unto them, {\cf6 Even if I bear witness of myself, my witness is true; for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye know not whence I come, or whither I go.


For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.


but he shall acknowledge the first-born, the son of the hated, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath; for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the first-born is his.


who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;


And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.


For I would have you know how greatly I strive for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;


And when this epistle hath been read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye also read the epistle from Laodicea.

And I saw the heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon is called Faithful and True; and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
