And it was so, that, when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto Jehovah, he arose from before the altar of Jehovah, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread forth toward heaven.


And all the assembly worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this {\i continued} until the burnt-offering was finished.\par


And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves and worshipped.


Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises unto Jehovah with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.\par


(for Solomon had made a brazen scaffold, five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven);


And at the evening oblation I arose up from my humiliation, even with my garment and my robe rent; and I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto Jehovah my God;


But none saith, Where is God my Maker,\par\tab Who giveth songs in the night,


Know ye that Jehovah, he is God:\par\tab It is he that hath made us, and we are his;\par\tab We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.


{\b YODH.}\par\par\tab Thy hands have made me and fashioned me:\par\tab Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.


For thou didst form my inward parts:\par\tab Thou didst cover me in my mother's womb.


Let Israel rejoice in him that made him:\par\tab Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.


They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him;\par\tab And his enemies shall lick the dust.


Oh come, let us sing unto Jehovah;\par\tab Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.


thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I Jehovah thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me,


Remember also thy Creator in the days of thy youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;


In that day shall men look unto their Maker, and their eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.


Thus saith Jehovah that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who will help thee: Fear not, O Jacob my servant; and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.


For thy Maker is thy husband; Jehovah of hosts is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is thy Redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called.


But now, O Jehovah, thou art our Father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.


And when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house (now his windows were open in his chamber toward Jerusalem); and he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.


Come, and let us return unto Jehovah; for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.


For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and builded palaces; and Judah hath multiplied fortified cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the castles thereof.\par


And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he afterward hungered.


and he said unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.


And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.


And he was parted from them about a stone's cast; and he kneeled down and prayed,


All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.


And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down and prayed with them all.


And when it came to pass that we had accomplished the days, we departed and went on our journey; and they all, with wives and children, brought us on our way till we were out of the city: and kneeling down on the beach, we prayed, and bade each other farewell;


And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.\par


for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.\par


For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father,


that in the name of Jesus {\b every knee should bow,} of {\i things} in heaven and {\i things} on earth and {\i things} under the earth,


Wherefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing unto a faithful Creator.\par


And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.\par


And I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that showed me these things.
